Penn State and LHACC provide Video Screening/Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day

On Saturday, March 5, 2016, Penn State (Dawn Witherspoon's & Mayra Bamaca's research teams) and LHACC (Latino Hispanic American Community Center of Harrisburg) partnered to provide a Video Screening/Family Fun Day for the community. To thank families who participated in previous projects and to introduce the Penn State teams to other community residents, local families were invited to come and eat, play games, do arts and crafts, and view the Families, Adolescents, and Neighborhoods in Context (FAN-C) findings' videos in a forum where any questions they had about the research were answered. Information about upcoming projects was shared. It was a fun event for all!
