Tiyobista Maereg

Tiyobista Maereg is a second-year graduate student in the Developmental Psychology program working with Dr. Witherspoon in the Context and Development Lab. She received her B.A. in both Psychology and Political Science at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research interest is focused on examining the impact of family and school contexts on the ethnic/racial identity development and academic outcomes of immigrant adolescents. As the PACT Graduate Administrative Assistant, Tiyobista will be attending PACT meetings and assisting with PACT events and reports.
