When Dr. Michael Eskridge moved from Baton Rouge in 2020 to work at Milton Hershey, he met Pastor Robert Woodall and started Bible Way Family Support Center. The goal of the center is to teach parents to support their children through events focused on three basic areas:
- Academic Enrichment: Families receive a personalized weekend program aimed at helping students remediate or excel in school. This program is for children 3-12 years old.
- Youth Leadership Development: Focuses on community service, financial literacy, and post-secondary school planning. This is in part achieved through workshops, such as the one Dr. Eskridge held for middle and high schoolers on how to start a business.
- Fatherhood Program: Discusses individual success for fatherhood, parenthood, co-parenthood, and community engagement.
Bible Way currently serves the Harrisburg district, but the programs are flexible such that most could be served anywhere.
